Ava at 13 months

1. Ava is taking a few steps, but still prefers to crawl.
2. She has her own little plastic laptop that she loves to work on anytime we get on our laptop.
3. She still likes pushing her babies or stuffed dog around in the stroller.
4. She can identify things that she knows the words for in books now, like ball, baby, dog.
5. She says "wow" quite often now.
6. She loves to play with anything that is mommy's or daddy's.....watches, cell phones, jewelry. She was sitting on my counter the other day and got a handful of bracelets and held them up like she had discovered a treasure.
7. She is getting more picky about eating. She wants her veggies to have cheese on them now.
8. She is very attached to her pink or white fuzzy blankets. As soon as she sees them she wants to hold them and rub her face on them.
9. She is still a good little sleeper. Goes down between 8 and 8:30, wakes up around 8:30, then takes a nap from 10:30 - 12:30 and another from 3:30ish to 5.
10. She loves to make friends in the grocery store and restaurants, even with people that weren't looking to make friends with her......she's a charmer.
11. She loves Faith. She looks for her and says, "dog? dog? dog?". Then she likes to hug her and put her in and out of her crate. She also tries to feed her the dog food piece by piece sometimes.
12. When I tell her no or take something away, she grunts and sticks her tongue out and pretends she is choking herself.
13. When she tries to pick something up, she grunts to like it is heavy.
14. She squeels and screams when she gets excited or wants attention.
15. When she sees one of her baby dolls, she picks it up, puts it over her shoulder, pats it on the back and says, "ahhhhhhhhh"
