Baby's Nursery

The nursery is all set up and ready for baby girl. I am so happy with how the bedding turned out.....especially the color! The "C" is for our last name.

It was so fun to finally have her bedding in the crib. Now I walk into her nursery and imagine what it will be like to lay our baby girl in her bed. It is all so much more real now that we have a nursery put together.
The three pictures above her bed are going to eventually contain pictures of her, but for now they have her ultrasounds in them.
The glider was our final purchase, as I kept going back and forth on whether I wanted a reclining glider or a glider with ottoman. I finally chose this chocolate colored glider / recliner by Best Chair. It is so comfortable! The bear is wearing baby girl's red tutu until she gets here to wear it!
I found this red lamp, cross and "A" at Hobby Lobby. I love that store! The "A" is your one clue as to what her name is.
Baby girl is going to have to wait until we buy a house next year to have her chandelier, but I have this one picked out from Pottery Barn Kids and think it would go perfect with her nursery decor.
For my dear friends and family who are wondering where in the world 40+ comments came from in one day......and several of you have asked....I was a part of Kelly's Korner tour of homes, because it was baby nursery day. Little did I know, I would have thousands of people visit the blog and so many comments on the nursery. It has provided a full day of entertainment for me.

Our home is ready for a baby girl

Clint and I have our apartment set up and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby girl. (FYI: Baby girl now has a name, but we are going to keep it a surprise!!!)

Everything is put together and in it's place.......thank you to Wayne & Polly (Clint's parents), as they came this last weekend and helped us set up our new apartment.

Baby girl's bassinet is set up.......and ready for her to sleep in it!
Baby girl's dressy clothes. She has so many adorable outfits that I can't wait to dress her in. Many of these outfits were gifts from showers, mommy shopping, Grandma Polly, and Aunt Melissa......who are spoiling our little girl before she even arrives!
Basket of Toys
Drawer full of onsies and gowns.
Bows, Shoes and Socks.........notice the hot pink rocket dogs and hot pink crocs from Grandma Polly.........and Aunt Melissa gave her almost all of those socks.
This is her drawer of blankets and burp clolths........she has several more blankets in the closet, as they would not all fit in one drawer.
She has all of her bathing supplies stocked up in her bathroom.

We have made it to 33.5 weeks of pregnancy..........and can hardly wait for July 1st to get here!!!
I am feeling pretty good, but very pregnant and not sleeping as well as before I had this large bump. I thought pregnancy was a breeze until I hit 30 weeks and now I am counting down the days. Below are the most recent belly pictures.

Hewitt Baby Shower

My coworkers at Hewitt gave me and baby girl a shower last Friday. We had lunch at the Egg & I followed by yummy cake. I was so surprised at how many cute outfits she got.......and they bought us two group gifts. I can't wait to put all of this baby stuff to good use.

These were the hostesses and are two of my friends at work, Amy & Nikki (and Nikki's baby boy, Joe)
The gifts

We feel so truly blessed that people have been so generous to our baby girl...... and we still have a shower with Clint's family in Nederland this coming weekend & then my family is spread out throughout Texas, so they are giving us a post baby shower in August, so they can all travel in to meet the guest of honor!

3D Pictures of Baby Girl

They did 3D ultrasounds of our baby girl at the hospital today. She looked so sweet sleeping in my belly and so much more like a baby. Of course, I thought she was the cutest thing I had ever seen, but the pictures didn't turn out that well. She has her arm covering half of her face in every picture.

This is half of her profile with her little arm right over the other half of her face and touching her nose.
This is still only half of her face, but I think it looks like she is pouting.
This is a regular sonogram of her, but you can kind of make out a little face.

Here is a short video of her sleeping.......I could watch her forever.

The doctor report was good. They said she looks like a healthy baby with all of her major organs working and is estimated to currently be around 3lbs 11 oz and in the 50th percentile for weight and length. Based on my belly measurements, they were thinking she will be a smaller baby, close to 6 lbs.......but today it is looking closer to 7lbs. I prefer the 6lbs for selfish reasons, but mostly I just can't wait to meet her!!!
