Mexico Vacation

We had our summer vacation last week and stayed at the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico. We had such a nice and relaxing time. We spent the days lounging by the pool, walking on the beach, snorkeling and sitting at the beach under a hut. We had way too much great food and were never short of a little drink with an umbrella in it. Each evening we had dinner at a different restaurant......Lobster House, Spice Asian, Isabella French, Agave Mexican, & Barcelona Spanish. Clint would also supplement his day of eating by ordering room service around midnight. One night he ordered a pepperoni pizza and one of every dessert on the menu. He really enjoyed the "all inclusive" aspect of the resort. I loved all the laying around, swimming, soaking up the sun, and spending time with Clint. We really had a wonderful trip!

Our room was a swimup suite, so we could literally swim up to our back door.
This was one of the drinks I just had to try. I don't know what it was called, but it way yummy!

Clint ordered me a little 3 days early birthday cake. Overall, it was a wonderful summer vacation. ......and I feel so blessed to have such a great husband to be my vacation partner!

Jones Family Galveston Weekend

My family spent the weekend with us in Galveston. Visitors included Mom, Dad, Mike & Alan. We were sad that my oldest brother and his wife, Jeremy & Carrie couldn't make it, but totally understand their absence. The first night we had a shrimp & crab cookout at our house.........Clint & I caught the crab earlier in the week. Then, we went for a night time walk on the beach.

We spent Saturday at Schlitterbahn and then we took my brothers to our favorite restaurant, The Spot. They have the best hamburgers in the world........Clint & I are regular diners at The Spot.

Breezi & Steven's Wedding

My best friend got married on 06/07/08 in Tulsa, OK. The ceremony was outdoors and I was honored to be the matron of honor. Breezi looked like a beautiful 50's bride. The reception was under a huge white tent, with a crazy amount of pink decor and flowers.........with a rockin band, it was truly a spectacular event. Best of all, I think Breezi married a wonderful man...........he is very sweet to her and it is so great to see her in love!

Seven Girls for Sex & the City

We had our entire "Sunday Brunch" gang together for lunch at Chuys and the Sex & the City movie.
