Ava at 14 months

1. Ava started walking really well at 13.5 months. She stood up one day in my bathroom and just took off. She hasn't stopped since.
2. Ava is very funny. She likes to yell and make us crack up and then she cracks up. Or she will look at Clint or me like, "that was not cool!".
3. She has conversations with us that only she can understand.
4. Now that she can walk, she goes in the pantry and grunts & points to let me know what she wants to eat.
5. She can play more on her own now, but wants me in the room with her.
6. She says, "nooooooo" when I am doing something she doesn't like or ask her if she wants something she does not.
7. She copies the things we do.
8. She digs in the cabinets and drawers that she could not reach before. She loves discovering new things in the pantry and carrying them around the house. I keep finding the tv remote in the bathroom and lotions in the kitchen.
9. Her words are no, baby, dog, fish(shhh), mumm, dad, ball, book, awww!, bow, yummm, uh oh, wow!, pop!, bop, hi and she will repeat most things we say.
10. She loves for Clint to play, I'm going to get you......and she runs and finds me and crawls up in my lap or arms to hide. Then he goes away and she goes to find him and they do it over & over. She laughs so hard!
11. She knows when we head up the stairs that it is time for bed and that is not always a good thing, but as soon as she gets her blanky & paci, it is okay.
12. She points to what she wants or where she wants to go.
13. She likes to play pick a boo with her blanky.
14. She throws a little fit when I take something that she can't have.......either screams or grunts and chokes or has tried to bite me a couple of times.
15. She knows how to use remote controls.
She loves to dance.
16. She hums when she hears music or wants me to sing to her.
17. She loves the books '10 Little Fish', 'Kisses', 'No, David!' & her baby bible.
18. She also loves a picture of Faith in a book that I made her before she was born.
19. She is very determined and stubborn if she wants to do something.
20. She likes to wear bows. When I comb her hair, she picks up a bow, puts it on her head and says "bow". She also likes to pull them out though.
21. She knows when she is being funny and watches to make sure we see her & laugh.
22. She has quite the little personality for a 14 month old. She is really a fun little girl!
23. Uses baby sign language for "more" & "eat"
24. I can ask her, "where is daddy?" and she will go look for him.
