Ava at 20 months

1. Ava loves Elmo. First thing every morning she either asks for daddy, mommy or Elmo.
2. The only show Ava watches is Elmo videos - every other day on average.
3. Ava carries on very extensive conversations with herself or us if we are playing along.
4. Ava knows the name of most things we encounter on a daily basis.
5. She can ask for milk, water, food, eat, cheese, broccoli, etc.
6. She gets very excited when we tell her we are going to play. She will say, "Play! Play! Play!..." until we reach the playroom.
7. She can play independently while we read a book in the same room with her, which is nice.
8. Ava has a drawer in my bathroom where she keeps all of her bracelets and some bows and she gets herself ready while I am getting ready to go somewhere.
9. Ava still loves cell phones....I think she now owns 8 of them. She prefers the ones that are old ones of ours and walks around talking on them.
10. Ava says, "no" very cute. We will say, "are you ready to go to bed?" and she says "no" very matter of fact. Or do you need me to change your diaper? "no".
11. Ava gets on to Faith anytime she barks or misbehaves. She shakes her finger and says, "no! no! no! Saith"
12. Ava says "luv you" back to us.
13. Ava loves Fancy Nancy books. She will start saying "ancy ancy" when it is time to read before bed. She also likes Dr Seuss' Wocket in my Pocket and will say "pocket pocket" She thinks the boy in the book is named pocket.
14. Ava is always up for going outside to play. She says "ouside! ouside!"
