Ava at 19 months

1. Ava got to see snow for the second time in her life. She liked it for 20 minutes & then said "brrrrr! cold!"
2. Ava can say most of the things we say, but not clearly
3. She lets us know her most common needs "water", "milk", "noodles", "hungry", "play", "night night", "no", "poop", "potty"...although she only toots once on potty, "outside", "inside", "swing"
4. She loves purses...she carries around 3 of her own....usually multiple on her arm at a time. She also confuses my cami tops and night gowns as purses. She puts her arm through the sleeve and carries them around
5. She likes bracelets on her arms and jewelry of any kind
6. She likes her hair fixed with a bow
7. She tells me when she wants her boots on
8. She loves being outdoors
9. Once outside, she likes mud, dirt, rocks, sticks & grass
10. We go on several walks or hikes each week and although she spends a majority of the time in her stroller, she greatly prefers walking herself.
11. She runs more than she walks.......and loves to run back and forth down our sidewalk.
12. She dances to any music she can find.....she will push her stuffed animal over and over quickly and then stop on the one that plays the song, so she can dance.....and then do it all over again
13. She loves to brush her teeth, but not to have her teeth brushed.
14. She now gets half of a Flinstone Vitamin and as soon as she hears the bottle rattle starts yelling, "Vimin, Vimin, Vimin!!"
15. Breakfast is always "nanna, waffle, yogurt, nilk" in that order
16. Lunch is usually peas or beans, mac & cheese, fruit and occassionally you will eat ham
17. Dinner is whatever we are eating plus "fruit" and "nilk"(ie. milk)
18. Ava loves to give hugs and kisses to mommy, daddy, friends, babies, stuffed animals and pictures of babies or stuffed animal in books.
19. Ave gets excited when we stay in her playroom upstairs to play. She runs around, then jump on zebra and ride it for 30 seconds, then climb up slide quickly, then go in her house. Then, finally realizes that she can slow down and play with your toys.
20. Ava can name all of her friends and even recognizes some of the houses when we pull up to them. "Hudson", "Audey" for Audrey, "Remi", "Bryccccc" for Bryce, "Soph" for Shophia, "Maddie" for Madison, "Lauryn"
21. She does great at Mom to Mom preschool at church on Wednesay mornings and sunday school on Sunday mornings. She jumps in teachers arms and then gets down and usually heads for the baby dolls.
22. Ava has 5 cell phones (two of wich are our old blackberry & flip phone) and she love to play with them. She walks around with it to her ear chatting away and laughing at whoever she is talking to. She sometimes has one on each ear.
23. Not a day goes by that Ava doesn't play with her babies, stroller, purses, bracelets and cell phones
24. Ava brings me my cell phone and says "Pop! Pop!" meaning she wants to call my dad. Then when she hears his voice, she says, "cookie". Imgagine that!
25. Ava has been in time out a couple of times int he last month. She either stands quietly and smiles in the corner or cries very hard with her nose in the corner. I'm not sure what determines how she will handle the time out, but the first reaction makes it hard not to laugh and the second reaction make it hard not to go get her.
26. People tell me on a regular basis that Ava looks like the Gerber baby or a baby in commercials or an iconic baby face from the olden days.
27. And her teachers say she fits the part of a movie star, "Ava"
